Arrowhead builds and deploys voice AI agents purpose-built for India's financial services sector. Founded in 2022 by Devyani Gupta and Vengadanathan Srinivasan, the platform targets the core inefficiency in BFSI sales: large human calling teams that are expensive to train, prone to attrition, and inconsistent in outcomes. Arrowhead's AI agents conduct end-to-end conversations lasting up to 20 minutes covering loan sales, insurance renewals, mutual fund pitches, and collections, without customers realising they are speaking to a bot. The platform supports Hindi, English, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Bengali, with mid-call language switching to reduce drop-offs. Results in production are notable. In one deployment for a major institution's health insurance sales, Arrowhead's agents delivered 45% higher conversion rates than human agents. In another, it enabled 100% customer base coverage for insurance renewals, lifting renewal rates by 20%. Every proof-of-concept the company has run has converted into a live deployment. The platform integrates with existing CRM and dialer stacks, is SOC 2 compliant, NIST aligned, and supports deployment in Indian or Singaporean data centres. Arrowhead grew ARR fivefold between August and October 2024 and currently serves 50+ BFSI clients including Bank of Baroda Cards, Aditya Birla Capital, Paytm, Tata 1mg, TurtleMint, and InsuranceDekho. The company raised a $3M seed round in January 2026 led by Stellaris Venture Partners, with participation from Kunal Shah (CRED), Madhusudanan R (M2P), and several senior BFSI executives who are also customers.
